W e see ourselves as a bridge between Canada and Latin America, and between the Canadian public and Canadians involved in Latin America's tourist trade. Tourism to Latin America is clearly hampered by only a few Latin American countries having tourism representation in this country. Many Canadians are simply not aware of what awaits those who vacation in Latin America and, unfortunately, news that does reach this country often tends to be negative, telling of earthquakes or political instability and so on, rather than positive sides about lands that have been home to or visited by the Incas, the Maya, Spanish conquistadores, Ernest Hemingway, Charles Darwin and others who have shaped history. Now we have stepped in to carry the banner for Latin America. Latin America Travel Amigos is an opportunity for all of us to work together to encourage travel to Latin America. That is, after all, in our collective interest.

Nuestra visión es ser un puente entre Canadá y Latinoamérica, entre el publico Canadiense y los Canadienses envueltos en el comercio turístico de Latinoamérica. El Turismo hacia Latinoamérica es claramente aprovechado por solo unos cuantos países Latinoamericanos que tienen representación en este país. Muchos Canadienses no saben que esperar de aquellos que vacacionan en Latinoamérica y desafortunadamente, noticias que llegan a este país y que tienden a ser negativas, acerca de terremotos o inestabilidad política y más, en vez de ideas positivas acerca de tierras que han sido hogar de Incas, Mayas, Conquistadores Españoles, Ernest Hemingway, Charles Darwin y otros que han hecho historia. Ahora que hemos avanzado en cargar el banderín por Latinoamérica. Latin America Travel Amigos es una oportunidad para todos nosotros para trabajar juntos para fomentar los viajes a Latinoamérica.
